Where Our Floor Samples Come From
Our family runs DMP Furniture, a designer furniture showroom that's served the Twin Cities since 1998. Showrooms constantly refresh, new collections come in, and the display pieces need somewhere to go. That somewhere is our warehouse in Eden Prairie.
So when you buy a floor sample here, you're buying a piece that was literally chosen to represent the brand at its best. It just can't be sold as "new" anymore, which is great news for your wallet. For a full side-by-side, see our breakdown of floor samples vs new furniture.

What Condition Are Floor Samples In?
Usually excellent. Typical floor sample "wear" looks like:
- Slight cushion softening from showroom sitting (most people prefer this to rock-hard new)
- Minor handling marks from being moved on and off the floor
- Discontinued fabric or finish, the piece is perfect; the collection just moved on
Every piece is tagged with its price and sold as-is. Inspect it as long as you like. When you're ready, come Friday or Saturday, our warehouse address and weekend hours are on the visit page.
